I had bought a baby male almost 7 months ago in addition to a small female panther, which I planned on raising together and breeding as my first breeding project. Turns out my male was in fact a female, which just recently started showing her salmon-ish colors. I traded my other female for a beautiful 10 month old Blue bar ambilobe from Tyler at TBS Chameleons- his name is Zero and he is the most gentle, adventurous chameleon that I've owned. I displayed him in front of her cage and she reacted very well so I introduced him to her cage and he mounted her immediately. About an hour later I took him out and returned him to his cage.. The next day I tried again but she gaped and showed her gravid colors! Below are pictures of Felix, my female; and Zero, my male.
