First shed since I've had him?

I know, I know, I have been posting like CRAZY, but this time there are no problems really.

I have noticed some white flakey skin on his tail near his pooper, and he's been 'yawning' (which I just searched and they apparently do it to get the skin off). His skin looks sort of glossy on his head.

Should I mist more often today? Also how long does shed normally last?

He has been progressively grumpier up to today, which I guess is his shedding attitude.

I don't think I can shower him because he never climbs on his ficus (the only thing I can take out of his cage quickly) unless it is to drink/sleep.

I have noticed before my guy sheds his head gets shiny and his body gets dull lol and he always starts shedding on his back first Some shed's go from 1-2 day's to 1-5 day's, i have seen mine almost 2 weeks on a shedding and i misted him every day with warm water to help.

Sounds like me your little guy will be shedding real soon, so just mist with warm water and he should be good, Oh and after he shed's he will be really hungry

Yes, his head is very glossy looking and his butt is the part that's shedding ATM, lol.
I will keep that in mind. I thought he could shed in 1 day, but at least now I won't get nervous when it takes a litter longer.

I will make sure to heat up the water a little bit now. Maybe I should buy bigger crickets for a big snack after his shed, lol

Ah okay. Wow, a lot of stuff varies with chams.
