First Shed Question?

Just wondering - what age do baby chams typically undergo their first shed? Veileds in particular.

I'm curious as Amy was so tiny when I got her and she had not long had her first shed - she still had a little bit stuck on her eyebrow. The breeder was 'growing them slowly' which I know is a good thing, but I'm not sure that she was as old as he said and knowing the age at first shed may help me a little!

I don't think is goes by age. I'd say growth. They shed eveytime they out grow their skin.

Lil, homer was 3 weeks when I got him, he had his first shed (that I know of) at about 5-6 weeks. It really depends on their growth. Its not something to be concerned about, theres no set rule of when it happens, (in any case, your cham dosent know about it )
He/She will shed when nature dictates.
btw, did you manage to determin its sex yet?
