First Panther!

Hey all, I purchased my first panther a few days ago from Bruce of Chameleon Paradise. I bought one of his Jake ambilobe Juvies. His panthers are amazing and worth every dollar you spend. Not only is he handsome, but has a great tempermant. Highly recommend Bruce, he knows his stuff and is passionate about his Panthers. Still thinking of names, but here's a picture of his sire and him.

His sire looks like a burning inferno. If he is anything like his daddy I would name him something meaning "fire". Are you wanting to go with an ironic name (human or funny name), or something with meaning (describing Chameleon's or your Cham)? For example.. I named my Chameleon Bodhi meaning "Enlightenment/Wisdom". He was named after The Bodhi Tree Buddha sat under gaining enlightenment. It seemed fitting because Cham's love trees and seem like such old souls. Plus it was cute and rolled off the tongue.

I've seen plenty of people that name theirs after a Disney character, another animal, or give them human names like George. Lol. It really depends on his personality, and how you want others to perceive him. If you tell us which direction you're wanting to go.. I'm sure we can throw a few names out there to help your process. Good luck!

P.S. - I tend to find really cool Hindu and Japenese names. If you take your time and write down a few, one will pop out more than the others. Pick that one.

Wow, he looks great! My chams names all relate back to their color or locale, I have a 1.0 ambilobe thats super blue, so we names him smurf, I have a group of sambavas that we names Sammy, Samantha, samster, and Samuel. My daughter named her veileds rapunzel, Flynn Ryder, and pascel. My husband named his ambilobe male superstar because overheard someone say it while he was thinking of names. Good luck!
