I just had to chime in because all 3 of my eggs from Eric hatched. Mine were 3 & 4 months overdue, because we live in the cold NE and live in an old, drafty house.

Just don't give up. Eric encouraged me that the eggs and babies would just get bigger and stronger the longer they 'cooked'.

He was wonderful to deal with and I LOVE my babies!

its been a month since the estimated hatch date. Candled it yesterday and it looks like it has a bunch of little cracks everywhere like its dried out or something

Does it look like it's covered with little snow flakes? If so, that means it's stretching.

I've hatched eggs from Eric as well & mine were 2 & 3 months overdue. It was just too cold in my house last winter.

The good news is the babies came out bigger & stronger. My first baby got big very fast!

I don't know, but should you be handling it this much. When I raised veiled I left the eggs alone just made sure the temps were right, and the bedding stayed moist. They always hatched just fine.
