First attempted Parsonii breeding

My whole group has been eating like pigs and moving around their cages so I thought I would pair a couple up and see what happens. I had my largest male,Hercules in site of my oldest male,Ares for a couple of days to get him worked up. When I was making my rounds feeding everyone,Hercules appeared to be in the mood to breed with me! I figured if I looked good, I would try one of the girls. I put my biggest girl Athena in with him and she remained a beautiful lime green so all is well for now. I am giving them some quiet time now but I will keep everyone posted.

Best of luck Chuck!

Good luck! If you get them to lay eggs you can hopefully hatch some. That would be the coolest thing I have ever heard!

Chuck, Parsonii are easily disturbed when mating so give them lots of quiet time. Sounds like she is receptive if in sight of a male without stressing.

Chuck that is great news! I would be so thrilled just to know there are captive bred parsons in the US. As usual you are the man!!!:D

First off, congrats on having a whole group of these priceless chams and may the great cham spirit shine upon you and bless you with lots and lots of baby Parsonii. We would love to see the whole group picture, if you please.
