First Aid Kit

So we have first aid kits at home for us humans (at least we should) with some very basic but very necessary items. What should be in a Chameleon first aid kit?

Please add to the list, maybe at some point a mod will make it a "sticky" if they think it warrants it.

I'm very, very new here, hardly in a position to be handing out advice and I know that but, let me kick it off with a couple things I wish I had right now but don't.

I'm not in an emergency situation now, but it got me thinking, so here goes.

Tweezers
Mineral Oil
Q-tips
Magnifying glasses, that fit on your head to leave both hands free

Phone # of Vet

THAT my friend is not only a good one but an easy one and I'm embarrassed to say I do not have, I will correct this tomorrow...well, maybe Monday during regular business hours.

Maybe the number to a 24hr emergency vet (that knows reptiles) as well as your regular vet? Normally VERY expensive but when you need one...you need one...period. I know form having to put my dog down in the middle of the night…another story, for another time <tough guy that cried his eyes out> But having the phone number on hand is free.

Latex gloves, flamazine, liquid calcium, cat catheter ( for flushing wounds), bird tape (sticks to itself but not to skin feathers), cotton balls, pencil or other such item to keep a mouth open when needed, k-y jelly...and I'm sure there are things I've forgotten.

You bring up a pencil for a compleatly different reason but it got me thinking about maybe having a small pad of paper and a pen/pencil in a first aid kit to jot down times/observations...a vet would find daily or hourly notes valuable assisting with a diagnosis?
