Has anyone ever had a problem with their chams and a fireplace/wood stove?

so far , no - we heat with wood all winter - I have a fire going now , once we lite our fire, it pretty much burns 24/7 unitl spring ( I HATE winter ) the only thing you have to watch, is it really dries out the air, so I add extra misting - but I do not notice any issues myself - I keep all my panters up stairs, as its a bit warmer w/ the heat of the fire going up ( we have a loft style log cabin ) so any smoke would also go there ( not that we have smoke - lol ) , but they seem just as healthy as the Jax who are kept downstairs - but this is just me - we have a open fire place, not a wood burner

We also burn with wood all winter. No issues just dry air. Nice to hear others do the same thing. Burning wood is so hard to keep temps the same. This is the only issue I have. Sometimes my house is 80 and other times its only 70. I'm with you little leaf, I hate winter, mainly the mess of the wood.

we have our furnace set to pick up the " slack " - lol so its never below 68 , but I much prefer 78 and when my "heat miser " husband is not looking - I bump up the furnace at night encase the fire does get low - shhhhh but the furnace almost never comes on ( thank God- its propane )

I have a wood burner in my living room and I keep 2 giant leaf tail geckos (Uroplatus) and I have no issues. I live in a split level and the Chams are up and down a level without issues (dehydration).
