Ficus Elestica

It's a level 4 on this list. http://www.plantsciences.ucdavis.edu/ce/king/PoisPlant/Tox-COM.htm

From what I know of this tree in my back yard...they get huge, that alone would keep me from trying it. But there may be different spp of it that I am not aware of. I dunno.

But from what I've been able to find on researching ficus spp is that they are often listed as toxic because they have irritating sap. But pretty much they are all herp safe. I know of some herp species that love fig leaves, and during fig season people feed them as a primary diet.

I just read a few more links and can't find anything on this sp that says much other than what I've already linked you.
