Female yemen not well

hi my gf's 6 month old yemen chameleon does not seem well. she's laying sprawled across my hand with her mouth open and her tongue partially exposed, she is also breathing rather heavily.
my gf said she's not eaten today n has not moved from under her basking spot. when she does move she seems weak n shaky. her eyes are closing n opening when sprawled on my hand but they are not sunken. there was no resistance i.e hissing n gapping when trying to get her out of her viv, which is not usually the case.
its 10pm in the uk so a vet is not accessible. does this sound familiar to anyone n what are the chances of survival. HELP???????

After looking at those pictures earlier she looks like she has severe MBD in my opinion but make sure you fill out the help form for her so that we can help you.

MBD? is this treatable? i don't think she has much knowledge on reptile care as this is their first reptile, it was given as a present. yeah sure, can u tell me whereabouts the form is n i shall fill it in

I'm sorry, I confused myself. I thought the pictures were of a female, but that is your male? The newest picture is definitely male, so is this about another chameleon? We need pictures and details. She needs a vet if she is acting that way.

the previous photos i posted are of the female yes. i just read up on MBD swell and that symptoms do fit, apart from the bent limbs and floppy jawbone. she is shaky and weak and she seems to be panting. the tongue partially exposed asif she was blowing a bubblegum balloon seemed very odd to me. appreciate all of your help

Like said in other post. Amount of eggs inside her could be pushing on lungs and other organs. Causing her to have trouble breathing and stress.

Okay, then so she could have eggs and is eggbound. If this is the case, she needs a vet ASAP or she will go down hill very quickly and die. Did you have a laying bin set up for her?

thank you for your help. she was displaying yellow spots when bright green for the last few days, and i was informed this is because she has become sexually active. my gf tells me that she cleaned her viv out a couple weeks back and is now worried she may have caused her stress resulting in her not wanting to lay. she did not really notice her size until she started to lay sprawled instead of grasping onto a branch. I'm guessing a vet is the only option. ill make sure she tries and gets her to one tomorrow. thank you for your responses much appreciated

yes she had a a container, 6 inches long by 4 inches wide and 6 inches deep full of damp vermiculite. i know sand would be a better substrate but she was informed by the local pet store vermiculite would be adequate. the gf says her chameleon (yoda) only ever seemed to use it as a litter tray. I've snow removed all bits of wood from the vivarium and only placed the pot of vermiculite, 1 vine and some foliage in the viv. she's laying on the vermiculite now sprawled. I'm hoping she manages to pass them naturally :-(

It sounds like she is too far gone to lay them herself without a vet. A picture would help a lot though. Try digging a small hole in the bin for her so she has a place to start if she can do it herself.

For future reference, a deeper and larger bin is needed (12x8x12deep at least)
