hi every one my female cham janet is really fat but i havent ever breed her i put a bucket of sand in her cage but she hasnt done any thing wat do i do? here are new pics of her new coloring patterns

How old is she? I can't tell much from the pictures. More pictures would be helpful. I would keep a laying bin in with her at all times......just in case.

Hi Guys, good to hear from you again. Janet has an infertile clutch so we will worry about Janet, not the eggs. Before Janet lays she will look like a football with feet. Or least mine all have. She needs a really good sized laying bin. It doesn't matter if it covers the whole bottom of her cage. It should be at least 12 inches by 12 inches and 15 inches deep. Bigger is better. I mix half organic potting soil with half play sand. It needs to be moist enough that you can dig a tunnel that will not cave in. I dig a tunnel and leave it case the chameleon wants to use the one I dug.

Now you need to make sure Janet gets misted a lot and has a dripper available so she stays hydrated. Also make sure to put a little extra calcium on her food. Don't make the cricket white, just a bit extra calcium. She could use some different type of feeders if you can get them. Silk worms, horn worms, super worms or dubia roaches. Not too many super worms, just a couple a day.

How long ago did she start getting fat? hang in there this will be ok.:)

i ben having her in joshuas cage with a small sand bucket its about 8 inches deep because hers broke when i was cleaning it now joshua free ranges mostly on out plant.
