I have a full grown female veiled chameleon that i mated back in may (i wasnt really looking to mate her but i didnt know any better because i thought she was already pregnant because of the way she was acting. Anyway they mated and she laid the eggs back in June 22nd and i have them hoping they hatch soon. But what i need to know about is how many or much more will she lay her first clutch to my knowledge was 43 which was back in June, Im just worried about her because i didnt catch her needing to lay in time beacuse she had dropped a couple of eggs in her cage but i now have her in her bin and she is laying them. Also the other thing i was wondering about is would it be a good idea to put some of her calicum powder in her water mist so she gets it that way as well as on her food. Thanks for any help you can give me

I wouldn't put calcium powder in her misting water...its likely to get in her eyes for one thing.

Hard to say how many she will lay. It varies too much to guess.

If the eggs were laid June 22 I don't think they are near hatching yet. It usually takes about eight months at temperatures in the mid seventies.

Hope she lays them all for you!
