Female veiled digging

I have a bit of a dilemma. My female veiled is digging in her plant (8" deep pot). I have placed a laying bin with wet sand, but she will not go to it, just keeps digging in the plant. Is this deep enough to deposit eggs? I don't want to disrupt or disturb her!

Leave her be.

If you provided the right bucket of sand, and she chose somehwere else, just let her be.

clearly she feels the plant is better.

I had a little panther female like that, she had a perfect, soil laying bin in her cage but she would dig in her plant pots instead (which have the same soil mixture, but obviously it felt more natural) and she was always fine. Some girls are just extremely stubborn. So if she's working on the tunnel/laying I would just leave her.

I don't know that we'll be able to say the same for your plant though! lol They really do a number on the roots.
