Female panther colors

I wanted to ask a question about display colors of my female panther. My girl is 6 months old and lately her normal color is what is pictured below or darker. In the pic she is a little puffed up because of my phone but it just seems odd. If I put my hand in the cage or feed her she goes back to normal but once I leave the area she goes back to that dark blotchy color. She has no view of any other chameleon and she still eats well and I see her drink often. I am just curious on what everyone thought.

Possibly Gravid? Around 6 months is when females start to lay eggs. Do you have a laying been setup for her? If not, I would definitely get one ready and set it up. Does she let you touch her sides at all? If so, try and feel for any eggs.

I thought the same thing as well but I swear she is just 6 months like tomorrow. Her eating has slowed down a little bit which had me worried but she is definitely eating. I guess I will get a bin going just incase. On a side note I need to find out what the hatch date was I know I have it somewhere...

It's typical for them to slow their eating when gravid, so I wouldn't be worried too much about that.
