Hey I got this Panther Chameleon about four weeks ago from DFW Reparium. They told me it was a few months old and they were pretty sure it was a male, but after having it for a month I'm not so sure. Any idea of its gender?

You need some more pictures so that we can see the base of the tail. The enclosure needs some more foliage. Happy Chameleon Keeping!:)

I got one from there too! And the guy, David, was positive it was a male. I don't see any bump at end of tail or spurs on the back feet. Its hard to get a good pic when they are so young and small. How's the temperament on yours? Mine is scared of me after only having him for a week.

I think I can see a bump, so I would say boy but like cj’s said the picture’s are hard to tell. If you can try to get a picture with his tail straight out, it would be the best way to tell! He/she is so adorable:)

Mine has started to know that I'm not a predator but still gets scared when I'm misting. He's let me handle him a few times. He was definitely scarred after a week so don't let that worry you. P. S. I'm pretty sure Panther Chameleon males don't develop spurs I think that's only veiled but I'm not sure.
