Female about to lay eggs??

Hello! i have a female veiled chameleon and she is around 5 months old. she has been on the bottom of her cage recently and very lazy. i recently took to the vet and found out she has MBD which is being treated. please help! can they lay eggs this young??

What's being done to correct the MBD?
Does she have a suitable place in the cage where she can lay eggs?
