Feet Rubbing

My 5 month old veiled cham sometimes rubs his back feet on the branches only when i mist the cage down his feet look fine no cuts not red at all why does he do this

We could speculate for hours on "why" but little to know the answer

Is there any extra skin that he didnt shed and hes simply trying to rub it off?

my 6 month old female veiled cham does it too I've caught her a few times. I have checked under her feet and it looks OK. I think she just gets itchy sometimes.
