hey guys,

I got a veiled chameleon on Monday, she is around 6 months old and was fully fed Monday night before i picked her up.

She has not shown any interest in food since then, she has been to the loo and love to have a drink.

Do you guys have any tips for feeding as i am a bit concerned .

Give her some time to settle in, provide her with a cup filled with food. She might be shy and wont eat when your around.

i thought it might be something like that, i have put a tub in her viv with a branch leading into it in the hopes she takes some food, got her out tonight without her hissing at me :)

How much have you been handling her? You might be stressing her out from over handling to the point were she doesn't want to eat.

Also are you feeding her in the same manner that her previous owner/petstore/breeder did? My jackson refuses to eat out of a feeding cup so I have to let the feeders free roam in his cage or feed him with tongs.

been handling her once a night since i got her apart from tonight, on the plus hand i did manage to get her to feed, she had 12 wax worms.

6 from a pot 6 from my hand :) have also got her mealworms and some small locusts as maybe she does not like crickets

I would cut back on handling for a bit so she can get used to her new environment first.
