When they are younger they will eat daily, I would suggest pending its size to let them eat a good portion. Mine always when about 3 months old would eat about 5-10 crickets per day. Most chameleons will eat plenty them selfs, just make sure you offer enough food

Can never hurt to add a few more crickets in there to be safe and as long as there eating, if its a little shy one day it will be okay
