It seems my 6 month old Ambilobe got a taste of Super Worm. I feed it twice a week. Now all he wants are the Super worms. I don't see him eating too many crickets. How do get him to start eating crickets again? Thanks in advance.
When mine got onto a worm kick, I started offering stunned crickets and superworms in the same cup. She began to start eating crickets again after that. Maybe I just got lucky Also, and you might be doing this, do you cut off the superworm heads? I have heard that their mandibles can chew through stomach lining of reptiles :/
I stopped putting worms in all together, and only offered crickets for a week or 2. I wouldn't think with food available that they would starve themselves.
Yes that was my gist I feed them, but rarely. I like to make it a surprise! LOL Keep them guessing, if they're not expecting a worm, they wont hold out for one. My jackson got fussy after her first one! Well, first one with me. They really do seem to relish them!

I am fortunate. Ive just started mixing up his diet lately... If I have a crik a super & a silkie all in there at the same time ... he goes for the crik first then the super then lastly the silkie.
