So I have some success with the horn worms, I think . Zaphod is messin with me today. I placed a hornworm in the enclosure today, and Zaphod took to the branches and buried himself. The hornworm did nothing. just sat there. So about 15 minutes later, I see no worm and no Zaphod! So another worm... again the worm just sits there. So I wait and wait and NOTHING. I come back and respond to some threads and go back to look... GONE . I'll never get a shot for this months contest :(. Anyway, the question I have is are your hornworms usually more active? They all seem content to just sit there. Hmmm.

I haven't tried hornworms yet but lol, I know the feeling :)

I've given up entirely on the photo contest. I blame my camera, mostly....because I am a bad workman I have to blame my tools........

hornworms arent very active.

I normally hold the end of one in my fingers, and squeeze gently, which makes them twitch, for the chams who have to eat moving bugs.

Good advice! I know he ate them, 'cause I'm currently doing a major cleaning of the cage! No worms but lots of hidden poop . ;)

Make sure the worms aren't too big. If they are the bigger ones I always hand feed because they have a wicked good grip and the chameleon can have tongue issues after trying to get them off a branch. Hand feed or put them in a plastic cup. JMO:D

I found if you dust the feet with your supplement, and then hold them for them to eat.. they dont stick as much.
