Feeding fruits & veggies

So just curious... How does everyone go about feeding their chams fruits and veggies? Do you use another feeder bowl or somehow wedge things in the foliage? I've tried putting banana on one of the sticks but it pretty much sat there and got nasty. Do I just add it to his feeder bowl with his feeders in it? I'm just trying to think of the easiest, least messy way of doing it. Also, what are your chams favorites? Thx!!!

For the most part panther dont eat vegies.Another reason for gut loading. When I kept Veilds they all atefruits & vegies. My female veiled FeFe would go to the end of the earth for bite of cantalope. Some Veild use vegies as a source of water as well.

Thanks Curt! Should I still try to give him the fruit? If it does not move, even a tiny bit then he does not seem to care. His food is gutloaded ; )

I have a little bowl hanging on a piece of bamboo and that's just for fruit and veg (hand feed the insects) My veiled girl will go mad for rasperries (whole small ones) blueberries (same, whole small ones) strawberries (chopped) steamed yam (chopped) mango (chopped) and rocket lettuce! She will litterally bend over backwards for these!

I hand feed Smeagol leafy greens and blueberries, but also put snacks in
a bird cage feeder I have mounted to the side of his cage.

He knows where to go for a quick snack, and if the cup is empty, he gives
me the stink eye big time!! :p

Thanks everyone! Well he's a panther, so maybe I will try fruit a few more times. Maybe they just don't have a real taste for them : /

I think you'll find that most panthers don't like fruit and veg, not all though! I've heard of a couple of panthers around here that eat thier plants :D
