Feeding Dubia

Since these roaches can't climb smooth surfaces. What does everyone else put their food and water in for the roaches?

I am using the exo terra water dish with water crystals for their water needs.

And use a low plastic container tray and sanded the surface to give it some traction for the dubias to climb.

Plastic lids from just about any large jar. right now i think they are rockin a lid from a 4 pound tub of cheese balls.

I use a flat plastic lid. I just give them fruits, veggies nuts etc so I don't give any other water source.

I use a flat plastic lid from a tupperware container for mine. If the edges are still too high, you can just cut the edge off on one side using scissors

After reading this thread: https://www.chameleonforums.com/gutload-has-made-huge-difference-95230/, I switched completely to wet gut-load, so they don't need any additional source of water.

Yes I've also discovered that if the Rubbermaid tote bin I have mine in gets too much moisture they will surely drown and die. I do not keep a lid on the bin any more and that has also helped out a lot!

well maybe im a bad roach mama but i just toss in some greens and orange slices, occasionally something different .. no place setting for them.... they've been thriving for years..
