I have a variation of the sunny D feed cup, and up until now, it's been perfect. Our juvenile jacksons was perching above it and snatching up worms. Today, I noticed he was on a lower branch, next to the cup, attempting to shoot the butter worm through the side, repeatedly. He even tried to bite it through the cup. Even now, he's next to the cup, staring intently at the worm. I purposely used a green sprite bottle, hoping he'd recognize that it was a solid surface. Should I take the cup away, so he doesn't injure himself? Or maybe put screen all around the bottom front edge, so it's not as transparent? I just don't want him to hurt himself.
