feeder size

hi everyone,
ive got this young paradilis girl growing up so quickly. shes going on 6 months. as of right now im giving her about 5 half inch crix a day. i was wondering if it would be any problem to bump up the amount as opposed to the size as she grows into her adult size. maybe insead of giving 3 to 5 large feeders,(this girl is on the smaller side) offer 6 to 8 medium feeders. feeding my chams is one of my favourite parts of keeping them. the more i could see those tounges shoot, the more enjoyment i get out of keeping these beautiful animals. this is secondary to their overall health, of course. so what do you guys think?

As long as she will go for the smaller crickets I see no problem. Do keep an eye because she will most likely decide when she needs larger prey, What do you feed her but crickets?

50% crix, 25%silks & the other 25% is filled out by supers, butters & hornies when i could get my hands on them. i change the amount of crickets according to how i want to distribute the other feeders into my chams diet.
so your saying the feeder sie is fine until i see a lack of interest... gotcha! thanks Laurie:)

When Amy was small I just fed her as many as she wanted (crix) until it got to the stage where she was gettting thorugh around 30 a day. I moved her up to the next size and she required less of the bigger crix to feel full. Also, remember the 'between the eyes' rule! The feeder should be narrower in body width than the gap between the cham's eyes.
