Feeder gutload with agave cactus leaves good or bad?

prickly-pear and agave are safe for iguanas and peoples. Lots of people eat the agave stalk of the flower cuz its sweet, same reason they eat the prickly pear "leaves". The leaves of the agave are edible, but its going to be like nom noming on a celery stalk, not sure how much nutrition vs fiber you will get out it.
