feeder cup question

I've tried a search on feeder cups for crickets and found a few threads but none with pics. There was one with a link to diy cup but it wasn't a direct link and I couldn't find it. I get the idea of a plastic cup with tape around the top but does anyone have a pic or point me to thread that does so I can better grasp the concept.
Thanks,
Randal

search modified milk jug it has one with lots of pics i made one of those and its workin great :D

I prefer tubs. They allow the chameleon to hunt while still keeping the bugs contained. I usually use a plastic shoe box or something similar.

I haven't tried cup feeding so this is probably a really dumb question. But, do you keep the tub on the bottom of the cage or do you attach or hang it somehow?

I actually made one out of the bottom of a two liter pop bottle, with tall sides, cut-out front, deep enough to contain bugs. I have a cham with a malfunctioning tongue, this allows him to see them, because it is clear and perch next to it to get his head in there. I melted all edges so they are not sharp, and it is hanging toward the middle range of his cage. I also put small pieces of kale in there for the insects or him to munch on. This cup was inspired by the milk jug design, (thanks), but I wanted it to be totally clear so he could see the bugs wiggling. Working very well for the first few weeks. Hoping tongue issues clear up someday, so I do put the hornworms on branches to make him go after them.

I like to raise the food off the ground. Crickets generally are too dumb to jump over the 4"-6" sides, so I have no escape problems. It's mainly for my free range panther and/or babies.

I use ceramic bowls and tall coffee mugs, afixed to the cage in different areas. The larger bowl allows for more movement of the prey and thus requires slight more natural hunting on the chams part. The tall narrow mug is good for containing high-jumping bugs (grasshoppers for example) and anything Im afraid to have get loose (roaches).
Plastic can work fine too, and is lighter if you have a less sturdy cage.
Make sure to choose an opaque and preferably dark coloured container.

i really dont cup feed my chameleon becouse i want him to hunt them down and not become lazy...but the only thing i put in a cup is my dubias becouse they like to hide...
