Has anyone else had anybad experiences with Fedex? I was supposed to get a new cham last week, and the package was delivered to the wrong house and they never sent it back. So L3 sent me another monday for delivery today... and if they didnt lose my little girl again. They found it in Indiana and wont be here untill tomorrow. It sucks paying for "Overnight" shipping for 2 day delivery. I am worried for the cham i hope she makes it. L3 has faith the lady told me it was packed with a 40 hour heat pack. I am going to have to watch it close, i am sure it will be pretty stressed.

That is terrible for the first one. Why did FedEx not trace the package and send the driver out?

I'm very sorry to hear this happened. I hope she arrives safely, and it's good to hear LLL took care of everything. I've never had problems with UPS, but like you, it seems I always have problems with Fedex. The last Cham I had overnighted, they didn't get to me until after noon. Not near what your experiencing, but I always cross my fingers when dealing with them.

I've also had supplies sent by them that tracked to one day and then showed up two days later. No company is perfect, but I've never had that problem with UPS.

Odd...Federal Express does not normally ship animals. I suppose lll might have made arrangements.

http://www.federalexpress.com/us/government/intl/termsandconditions.html#liveanimals

FedEx does not accept live animal shipments as part of its regularly scheduled service. Live animals will be accepted when the shipment is coordinated and approved by the FedEx Live Animal Desk. Acceptable shipments include, but are not limited to, zoo animals (to and from zoo locations only) and horses (from gateway to gateway locations only). Household pets, such as domestic cats and dogs, and live fish are not accepted. For more information, contact the FedEx Live Animal Desk at 1.800.405.9052.

Yeah i know i have gotten feeders and my male from FL Chams:) through UPS and had no problems. FedEx has really gotten on my bad side lol... does anyone know if the rates at fedex are cheaper than UPS? My tracking update said it was in Charlotte, NC pretty close to my house at 9:30 this morning, but it never came. So I called and they said they thought it was on the plane, but turns out it was still at sorting in Indiana....Sucks :(

I have had years of mishaps and frustration from Federal Express so I am not surprised to hear that others are having trouble. If someone will only ship with this company, it's almost a deal breaker for me. Fedex are not efficient and have no regard for customer service nor the live animals in the boxes to be delivered. I strongly advise requesting UPS.

Noting again, it seems to be against Fed Ex policy to ship animals...while we can graciously think it likely that LLL has made the necessary arrangements....it really seems a tad iffy to me...

I mean, if they specify "zoo to zoo" as an example "store to home" doesn't seem that likely. If the store used a shipper that does not accept live animals, then the responsibility for failure lies with the store.

Sorry to hear about your situation, did she make it safely?? I hope so! and yes I have had to many issues with FedEx, that you don't even want me to start!
