For those who have had chams shipped via this method, I know that they are supposed to have the package delivered by 10:30am local time. I'm wondering how often this happens. I'm also wondering if it is usually right around 10:30am or if sometimes it is earlier, or how much later than 10:30am it can be. Please feel free to share your experiences as this is the first time I'll have a cham shipped to me rather than having it held for pickup. Thanks!

Fedex is very good at what they do. With the holidays approaching, more delays will occur as it gets closer to Christmas.

As far as the delivery time, it all depends on the load in the delivery truck and where you are on the driver's route. If you have a 10:30am delivery time, it is usually there by 10;30am.
Sure, people will come up with horror stories, but the packages usually get then when they are supposed to.

Thanks! The last time I had a cham delivered, I had it held for pickup, and they lost my package for over 24 hours. I hope this time goes more smoothly since I'm having it delivered to my home!

I've only had one shipped. The breeder used FedEx, and he was at our front door by 9:30.

I understand your concern, tho. I was on pins and needles 'til he arrived!

I've picked up 2 at the Fed Ex hub, which worked out great. I had one shipped, but not through Fed Ex, and it finally arrived around 2:30PM - my heart was in my throat by that point. Good luck and hope your little one arrives when they should.

I wish the FedEx guy rang the doorbell. I went outside to see around 10:30 and there was the box! So it might've been earlier. I'm surprised my dogs didn't alert me.

I have three dogs who freak out if anyone even comes on our street, let alone comes in the yard, so I'm confident they'll let me know the second the truck turns onto our block! I still plan to spend my whole morning in the front room sticking my head out the window, though... He should be here in three hours!

When I got Kush, he was delivered right around 10:30. Everything went pretty smooth. The only thing is, when I opened the box, there sat Kush on top of his little traveling cup! Somehow the lid had some off! It freaked me out bc I had used a knife to open the box!

Anyways...it seems that usually there aren't problems. Like a previous post said, there are always horror stories, but I'm sure there are WAY more positive ones.

When I got Kuzco, he arrived at 9:15 Which was convenient because I woke up at 3 with anticipation and was about to crash haha

Mine always are great when being shipped. They arrive about an hour and a half earlier than expected.

You are asking a question that has so many opinions there is not a single answer. I have know them shipped as young as 1 month, I think that is criminal. Some people ship at 2 months, that doesn't seen as safe as I would like, but if it is a healthy cham and the person shipping is experienced, that can work. My personal opinion is they should not be shipped until 3 months. If it is a fragile species of cham, I won't ship until 4 months - but I am way over careful.
