I’m pulling together a list of products and supplies that chameleon keepers absolutely need and find helpful to use to share with new keepers. So what are some of your favorite products to use for your chameleons? What do you wish you had from the beginning? What has been a life saver for you? What is something you always recommend?

Here is what I have so far: https://www.amazon.com/shop/neptunethechameleon?ref=inf_own_neptunethechameleon

I prefer analog timers so when power goes out or flickers, it's still on a schedule, not jacked up too much and doing God knows what

Repahsy Bug Burger, Repahsy Superload (to use as/mix with the quality gutload for if they separate their feeders the night before), Arcadia Insect Fuel, Cricket Crack (I love their whole line really), and Pangaea Roach and Cricket Food. All except Cricket Crack can be served wet or dry, as well. I use all of these when making my gutload, along with tons of veggies, some fruit, and other dry mix-ins, like spirulina and bee pollen, as well.

A good maintenance food for those who buy insects in bulk before gut-loading ( I've not had any issues with just feeding them gutload for a couple of weeks) but not sure if this the best for the feeders themselves 🤔

I know they aren’t the best things to buy off Amazon, but live plants. Oddly there have been several forum members who have had difficulty finding safe plants at their local stores. Also, while there are better sources for feeders, many are available on Amazon and I believe Josh’s Frogs sells some there. Many new keepers are clueless about where to buy silks, roaches and even bsfl.
Also, drainage/tray solutions such as https://www.amazon.com/Zoo-Med-Rept...1629325910&sprefix=ReptiBreeze,aps,206&sr=8-1
Let’s not forget something appropriate to place your XL ReptiBreeze on and place for drainage bucket below. https://www.amazon.com/Zoo-Med-Rept...629325958&sprefix=reptibreeze+,aps,207&sr=8-2

When power resumes, the smart timers resume their schedule, the config is not lost. As long as your wifi is reliable, so are the smart plugs that connect to it.

I can see the need to have a whole new catagory for Chameleon food. Bug burger, bee pollen, fruit fly cultures, feeding tongs, cricket keepers, etc...
