from the iceman line- what do you guys think? He was looking a little more faly today~ Feel free to say whatever you'd like, you wont hurt my feelings- he's still pretty awesome...

He looks very Faly today. Normally when I see his pics he looks more like Nosy Be. You can clearly see the the red rain and white coming through on the above pics. :D
 
He does seem to be showing some faly traits which is a good thing. But the iceman line offspring as a whole is how I look at things and most seem to be more Nosy be then faly with hints and traits of faly showing JMO. The iceman line has always been questionable in how they look and do to what the breeder has said in past closed threads has made me stay away from the line. He is a very good looking chameleon though..

Maybe 6 or 7 and a lot don't post the due to the faly drama . This is JMO I have had this discussion with you and several others on this line.... Simple put I guess if there is not a thought in your or anyone else's mind that own this line that they are Nosy falys then I guess to you all they are... This is all just my 2 cents and opinion.
 
Ranger- can I ask what makes you think sprinkles is not a pure faly? like what exact traits do you see?

I would like your opinion on this particular cham, and his sire iceman, with no influence from your feelings regarding the breeder.

EXCLAIMER- Not starting drama, simply curious as to how you and everyone else came to their conclusions.

Sure some of the things I see is the head shape more rounded and on falys I see more of a pointed back of the head and the whole head is thinner then most locales,there is red rain on him just like a wc Nosy be or a trait from a faly most wc falys and some cb line falys all have banding of red rain and big and small red rain dots of all shapes and sizes not just dots. They yellow on the face has blue shading over it when in falys I have noticed all the yellow on the face is on top of all the color with no shading. When fired up he has white shading but with a blue tent in my falys when fired up it is bleach white with no shading, also at rest this boy seems to be all blue in all my falys and others that I have seen when at rest they are more green with a grayish of color kind of like smoke background color were the white is. This is JMO that's it...
There are more but you would just have to Own wc falys to really know what I would be talking about
Edit. Also the eyes if you look at my falys eye pattern and color and other known cb and wc lines .they do not display the color that this line has that is more of a Nosy be locale imo .

One thing I've noticed lately is that the yellow has been coming in stronger since I've had him... Makes me wonder if gutload/diet of the wc vs ch creates some variation in colors.

It might. But what I am looking at is like in koi which I am a owner of to lol. In koi there is a color or pattern that let's you know its a pure showa its called sumi a black color that floats on top of all the colors no matter the color it is on top of it is pitch black with no color showing threw. And I have see that falys seem to have this same trait happening not to say they are koi but I am just using this as a reference on all the cb falys and wc falys there yellow is like the sumi in koi it is on the top of all other colors with no shading or color in top of it.
 
But at the end of the day this is all just my opinions and my thoughts and observations of this locale as a whole and there cb offspring .... I can say a 100 things and you can say a 100 things of way or way not he or any others are faly or any locale for that matter. It is up to the person who owns the animal and what they think and if it looks like set locale and if they think it is the locale they were sold. And that's all that matters..... I have noticed people will fight for anything they love and care about so its all just a matter of opinions I guess.
 
One more thing I have to add and I am done.... On my opinions on the locale and your boy. He dose not show the known yellowish tent in the rear leg area that all wc and cb proven lines have.... This is all I have to offer and my opinions you can take them in a good way or upsetting way which I hope its not the second one. But as for anything else its you opinion he is a beautiful boy that's for sure.
 
You should add a photo and point to the areas/patterns you are referring to... I'm not sure what you mean by the yellow in back area

I am at work right now lol. You can search my old post and look at my falys and see the off shading of yellow I am talking about but here is few pic I have on my phone that shows it.

Here are 2 of my other falys with the off yellow on there rear legs. and if I get permition from my buddy with cb falys I will post his with the same coloring on the rear legs.
