I heard ppl using garden hose then using garden wiring inside the hose to give it that stretch feel to it then cover the thing in a1 silicone then coat it with dirt there is YouTube videos on it ...

Dont use romex, it will deteriorate and get all cracky in a few years under a UVB light. You can use "UF-B" just fine. Its also a buck a foot....

For higher spousal approval factor, you can cut to length, and then put one end in a vise, and then put the the other end in a drill and spin it to make it curly.

In my brain romex = indoor NM cable and UF-B = "weather rated".

But yea i just picked the big thick 10 gauge burial stuff

That's OK. Most everything in the 2 enclosures I've built that isn't alive is sealed in urethane,
so that's where my brain is.

Can you even bend 10 gauge? (I know you can.)
The largest I've worked with is 12 gauge for 20 amp circuits when I wired my basement.

On a lighter note, once you spin it and make it curly, its gets real easy to bend vs straight.
