fake v. live plants

Hello,

I am preparing to setup an enclosure 30x18x36 and am undecided as to what types of plants I should use, live or fake. I am fully aware of the pro's and cons of each. I would prefer to use fake plants because I don't want the stress of plant mites, fungus, disease, etc. Keeping the Cham in good health is a big enough challenge. Should I decide to use a live plant I was leaning towards a Pothos. My question is, how do I maintain a healthy plant without exposing my Cham to toxins? Like Chams most plants have special feeding and lighting requirements as well. If I am able to maintain a stable humid environment via misters/drippers and provide lots of coverage will live plants be necessary?

Any and all feedback is welcome. Thanks!!!

Would you perfer fake friends or real friends? LOL jk.
Well go with pothos and ficus. oh what chameleons are you planning to get? You can mix it up! Get some plants and vines. Also real plants help keep the humidity. Some adult chameleons will need some veggies..

Pothos are great for vines. Try and get one that has really long vines. Ficus is a great base plant to place in the middle of the cage. With your cage, I would get 2 side by side. Get some bamboo sticks while your at Home Depot. You can creat great basking places and perches with the bamboo sticks.

Thanks for the suggestions. I plan to get a panther. Not sure which particular breed but I love the Nosey Be's!
