Facebook Page for crested geckos

So I joined a facebook page for cresties about a week ago. I just left it. Obviously crested gecko owners know so little about nutrition and health when it comes to insects and homemade diets because they've relied so much on the powdered forms that they haven't had to research. It pissed me off when I posted a picture of my diet last night and said it's smoothie night, everyone has freaked out. They all started assuming and wouldn't ask questions or give me 5 seconds to explain. I have lost a breeder because of it. I am tired. And pissed.

That's so unfortunate. It seems the chameleon groups are much friendlier than other reptile groups in my experience...

Well what really is the issue is they don't have an open mind and they thought I was a newbie. *rolls eyes* I have had crested geckos for years, I have been breeding them, but I have had them for almost as long as I have had chams. They also seem to think feeding snails and isopods isn't good but of course the only way to replicate what they need with feeders "is to feed them soil eaters and high calcium feeders..." Which I am like... what do you think isopods and baby snails are?
