Hello there,
I am new on this page, so please excuse me if there is some forum with the same question already, but I didn't find exactly what I want to ask.
I have many panther chameleons - 7 different localities in total, males, females, age app. from 7 months to 2,5 years, some of the females had a clutch or more, some had not. Some are wild caught, some are F1 generation.
Problem is that no female want to breed in these days and even some of males don't want. I have some females that I want to breed let's say for 3 months, other only for app. 14 days. Most of them look pretty beige-orange in their terrariums, but in the moment I put them into the male's cage (or the male into female's terrarium), they turn dark and don't let the male to breed.
Of course I know there are some animals that don't breed from some reasons, but I try to breed app. 10 females of different age, generation etc.
The males - most of them try to breed, but if they see that the female is not interested, they give it up...
Can anyone help? Many thanks!
