Difficult to say what is causing the eye's to sink in. Chameleons sink in their eye's when something is bothering them. I would make certain your Chamaeleo calypatratus is well hydrated, has good UV lighting and is eating well. If the sunken eyes continues for a while you may want to have a checkup with your local vet. A lot of the time sunk in eye's go away on their own with healthy husbandry.

Your Chamaeleo calpatratus eye's are not sunk in that much.

Thank you. I was not sure if they were sunken in or not. That is how they have looked since i got him which has only been about a month now. while I dont ever see him drink I have a mist king that runs 6 minutes twice a day and i beleive my uvb to be good reptisun T5 5.0 spaced 8 inches above basking. He is eating good feeding twice a day and he gobbles them up

If they are sitting farther in like that all the time add a dripper during the day. He may not have enough opportunity to drink depending on when your misting sessions are actually happening. You can use a plastic solo cup with a few tiny pin holes in the bottom. Add ice cubes and set this on the screen top away from your light fixtures so it can drip on leaves below.

If he does not do this all the time then he may be reactive to the phone and this is a stress response not sign of dehydration/illness.
