Well this is a new one... can you give us a profile shot of the left eye and a pic of the right for comparison?

It looks like he is defanitly holding his eye in, irritation is the only reason I can think of to explain that...

Help form too please.

my guy had the same exact problem, I took him to the vet nd they said it was nothing to worry about and that I needed to increase the humidity. the gunk is whats irritating his eye and that's probably why he is holding it in, give him a long 7-10 min shower/mist and let him properly clean his eye

Edit: if it doesn't clear up in a few days they also told me it could be nutrient deficiency so i'd advise you make a trip to the vet just incase it is but try the showers first. also fill out the ask for help form so we can figure out which it could be or if its something else

My juvenile carpet chameleon also had a similar problem to this recently. Her right eye was clearly bothering her, she was holding it in, and the roundness of the aperture was "squintier" than her other eye. Like above, I upped humidity and gave her some extra long misting session to give her ample opportunity to flush the eye of whatever may be irritating it and it cleared up within a week or so! Hope it's a similarly easy fix for you.

I gave him showers yesterday and today every 2 3 hours but it seems it doesnt help...does it need more time? The problem is I in the city with no vet for reptiles...

it wont work immediately but it should work after a week or two
Ohh i tought so but im scared hahahah, i noticed it actually 2 weeks ago but it wasnt bad at all it wasnt visible i only saw him rubbing eye on the branch. Later i wasnt at home for like 5 days my friend was misting and feeding him, now when i got back i saw this i hope it is not too late

its not as bad s Apollos was, Apollo is my cham, I went ot of town for 3 days and came back his eye was full of guck, it came out afer some extra showers and hornworms, the extra moisture really helps

Here is the update. Looks even worse to me, he doesnt see on that eye.

it looks like a nutrient deficiency then because the vet said that could happen when I went. go to an exotics vet for some advice.

Superworms should be for variety, not as a staple. Feed only every other day (the veiled care sheet here has how much to feed). What do you gutload with? Try some more variety, variety is key! Butterworms, hornworms, silkworms, BSF and BSFL, blue bottle flies, mantids, small helix aspersa, painted lady butterflies, other roaches (red runners, orange headed, and ivory headed cannot climb or fly), and silk, horn, and wax worm moths, to name a few. Use only Repashy Calcium Plus LoD, use it every feeding. Does the tank have good ventilation. Get a linear 10.0 uvb bulb (Zoo Med) and fixture instead of a compact, could be part of the eye issue. Humidity should be 40-70%. What are the live plants?

Yeah, twice a month or ecery 2 weeks is the same thing i give him repashy multivitamin every 2 weeks
Sorry, I thought you meant Calcium Plus LoD. Use the calcium without D3 every feeding, with D3 every two weeks, and the multivitamin every 2 weeks

Yeah i do that, meybe i wrote it unclearly, i know for humidity i know everything trust me he is in good general health im nit a begginer. I know for lights they should be out but those holders for bulbs came in croatia 3 days ago literaly.. and literaly in croatia you can only buy super worms, dubias, crickets and mealworms i know thats nothing but fuck it what can i do. Also im selling my little fella bc im travelling a lot now bc im a music student and i have to go play the concerts around... so i will tell that next owner to do that with bulbs, he will come for it in a week so and im in a rush with a time so i cant do it now. Also no exotic vet here so im really fucked up.. i mean the cham i hope this humidity will help...
