EYE Problem please help

Im freaking out and i don't have money for vet. my chameleon has went on a "hunger strike" this past couple days. He drinks quite frequently though but has slowly and progressively turned lazy. he's not as active and he is a lighter pattern than normal . today i realized his eyes were more "out" than normal and on the side of his eyes thats closer to the from of his mouth there seems to be some swelling. its not big its very minor for the moment but i want to ensure his safety . he is in a about 20 by 20 by 36 cage i believe which i know is too small i have the new cage coming within the week. I'm stressing out and would appreciate any tips i can get i will post a picture soon! please help me

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Veiled Chameleon, Male , 7 and half months old, been with me since he was 2 months
Handling - once a month or less
Feeding - mainly 5 large crickets in the morning and at night. I'm dusting them with Calcium supplement , calcium w d3, and multi-vitamins. i also occasionally feed him a mix of wax and meal worms. normally around ten of them in morning and night (not each but total)
Supplements - Repashy Superfoods calcium, repti Calsium with d3, and Reptivite multi vitamin
Watering - A little Dripper, Mist at least once a day
Fecal Description - normally dark brown with some white . Never seen a vet
History - couple weeks ago he would always go to the corners of his cage as if he were looking for a way out . spending a decent amount of time on the ground

Cage Info:
Cage Type - all Screen , 18x 18x 36x
Lighting - 60 Watt Heat Bulb. Reptisun 5.0 18' Fluorescent Bulb
Temperature - basking is around 90s and floor is around 70
Humidity - humidity is at 70-80
Plants - 1 pothos plant
Placement - the cage is in my room there are fans going but not aimed towards him , the top of the cage is around 6 and a half feet from the ground
Location - Virginia

I am concerned on why he is not eating and why his eyes are starting to bulge and swell. First Chameleon , first problems D:

whats your supplement schedule?
its should be:
* calcium without d3 every feeding (except the day when the others are used)
* calcium with d3 every 2 weeks <-- same with multivitamin i even give them both on the same days so i dont forget

have you changed your reptisun recently i change it every 6 months

get a full body pick, are his joints (legs) all weird as in bending or even disfigured.
is the bumps on boths eyes?
if so your cham could have mbd <--- i dought it though the swells dont look like mbd

it turned out my panther had a puss white goop in his eye i think he wasnt cleaning his eyes and built up, do you ever see him clean his eyes?

I had a very similiar situation last week. I had to take one of my females panther to the vet because of eye puffing, continuosly attempting to clean eyes by rubbing on branches, periodically closing the eye for short periods of time, lethargic, and very small appetite.

I took her to the vet immediately. They did an extensive cleaning on the eye with a some kind of solution (probably saline solution). They also put numbing gel and examined the eye and noticed a white substance that they removed. I wasn't there for this visit but apparently it was scary to watch according to my gf. After it was cleaned out they prescribed gentomycin which I apply three times a week. At this time she is nearly back to acting like a normal cham. No more eye issues but still eating less then usual. This costs me 78.68. Vet bills vary and I think your issue might of progressed into a more serious issue that will probably cost a bit more to fix.

I know you don't have alot of funds to work with but a vet visit is a must in my opinion. We've seen alot of eye issues end badly here on the forums. Let them know your budget and see what they are willing to do. I've had vets right off charges because of my financial situation.

Thank you so much man , did you put your chameleon in the shower at all ? i feel like it would help and i don't have any saline solutions but i have contact solution and i was wondering if it would help at all.

my camera is messing up but i know its not MBD.

good mbd would be terrible.
yeah i did put him the shower it helped alot, he started drinking water which aloud me to sneak in some crickets

i got termycin at a pet store, im not sure about the contact solution but i would try the warm shower things
put him ona plant <--- the pothos and bounce water off the wall to drip the water on his plant, they will kinda sip at the water, dont just do it for a short while i did it for 10 minutes then left him on the plant for another 5 minutes

i would do daily showers for at least 20 minutes each time (unless he freaks out).
even when his eye looks better, do it for another week, just to be sure.

Im thinking you may have a vitamin A issue, It is a tricky topic, but I may suggest that you stop all supplementing for a few days then appy a very small amount or preformed vit A from a capsol, ( tiny tiny dab not even a whole drop one 1 feeder and handfeed )
You can get the vit A at any drug store and it come in capsols you can punchtur )
