Current Problem - I noticed a couple bumps on her nose and I watched her to see if they got better and they didn't. Then this morning I noticed one on her eye so I am getting more concerned. I am attaching some pictures. Sorry they are kinda blurry but it's the only camera I have.

What are those whitish looking bumps on her nose? If they are infected areas then that might be the problem.

I'm new to chameleons but the fact that it has spread from the nose to eyes is worrisome!! If I was you I would take her to the vet to identify what exactly those are and any treatment available to keep it from spreading more at the least!:)

Those whitish looking things are the bumps. No clue what they are. They haven't affected her eating at all so I wasn't to concerned but they are spreading so I wandered if anybody had any clue as to what they possibly could be before I took a trip to the vet.

I would say they are the reason for the eye issues....and if you don't deal with it quickly you are likely to lose the chameleon.

Likely infection. If so, they need to be cleaned out well by a vet and a culture and sensitivity test done to determine what antibiotic to put him on to get rid of the bacteria. While on the meds he will need to be well hydrated.

The vet said that it was a bacterial infection in her blood because of the way it was spreading. He game be a wide spectral anti-biotic(bayatril) and a culture kit if any of the bumps form a head and have stuff coming from them. So now I just gotta hope she gets better!

If he didn't clean them out the baytril won't get rid of the infection. Chameleon "pus" is like cottage cheese and can't be penetrated by the antibiotics.

I too am very surprised the vet did not clean them out. Yes hopefully they will come to a head you will be able to get samples to the vet. Please do keep us posted on his progress.

None of them are really big enough to have much in them and there are a few under the skin. Maybe that's why he didn't clean them out. Idk. I guess he's hoping the meds will get rid of it.
