Ok, so today one of my WC Ambanja's I just received started having some eye problems. His right eye would not open. We showered him again for a while because we figured it could be due to hydration, but it still hasn't opened up.
Then we noticed that they eye that was opened started to bulge a little bit like it had a bubble of fluid in it. Then it sunk back down to normal. That was all earlier today, then just now we noticed that they eye that wasn't opening did the same thing, it bulged out like it had a bubble in it.
They are all going to the vet tomorrow, but we were wondering if there is anything we should ask the vet or suggest to the vet etc. He is the most experienced reptile vet in the area, but we aren't sure about his knowledge on Chameleons. Also if anyone has had a similar experience and can tell me what they did in that situation it would be very helpful.
Thanks.
Also, all the other chams are doing fine. They are in 4ft x 2ft x 2ft screened in enclosures, they dont have UVB bulbs yet because we are still waiting on them in the mail, but we have been taking them outside to get some nice summer sun. They do have regular basking spots and all that is fine.
