Eye cleaning?

I have a 5 month old Panther chaneleon that when I mist his cage he like puts his eye out but with his eye closed and pushes the skin out next to the eye, I know it's not the best explanation but I asked my breeder and sent him a vid and he said he was cleaning his eye. If someone who is rather skilled and experience could pm there number so I can send them a video to see if it is something bad that would be great. Thanks

What you describe sounds like eye cleaning. They do it a lot while being misted or after taking a large drink. They are able to channel some of the water into the eye turrets to remove gunk.
