i got my cage from LLL and it came with instructions. i put it all together easy enough...

I was left with some extra parts. i cant tell what they are for.. a dowel inside? a hanger for a curtain outside?

id like to know their intended purpose.

this is what they look like.

thanks!

they were taped to the instruction sheet. hah.

i guess if no one else has had them ill have to try and forget about them. its going to bug me not knowing why i ended up with them.

This is a new feature. There should be drilled holes inside the frame for those brackets. They are probably for attaching vines inside the cage. I just got a cage like that a few weeks ago.

they look like you would hang a basked plant from them. or vines like Harry stated.

who gives a rat's tail what their for.. if your cage stands like it's suppost to.. be creative and use it for something good and useful :)

keep them dude don't lose them. they are for in case you gotta take your cage apart and you might lose a bolt or two just extra to keep on hand so put in a plastic bag and put someone were so you don't lose them. zoomed does this with their cages so keep them safely tucked away somewhere.

Those are for the inside of the cage, at the top. They are loops for either hanging branches or potted plants or vines. One goes in the top back left corner and the other is in the top front right corner. They aren't extras lol :)

lmao If I remember from putting mine together a few weeks ago...that instruction sheet tells you where to put them...I am pretty sure! :D:rolleyes:

edit. i will look at the instructions again but i didnt notice any extra holes. since youve see where they go they must be there. unless i got an old cage with new parts?

re -edit - yep. it was in the instructions. they didnt give these parts letters like the other parts so i guess i was just skimming the instructions looking for (a) (b) and so on. it just calls them plastic hangers.

and i couldnt find out where they go because its on the top piece so i had to look under it. thanks for ending the confusion! i feel like a gigantic moron now. i just felt like.. ok the cage is built.. woo.. wait a tick, what are these for? meh. then it started to eat at me. heheheh.

I guess that could be, it is only 1 hole for each hook, check that you dont have the bottom and the top switched around or anything wierd like that. They really arent that important structurally so if you dont have a spot for them, it is no biggie. If you want them there, you can easily drill holes in the frame for them. The frame drill pretty easy, I had to attach the corner piece for my MistKing nozzle.
