Explosion!! Haha

So I brought Molly in for a follow up vet visit today and the vet decided we could poke her big eye bubble. So we did and BOOM! LOL a bunch of gunk and puss came out. She feels much better now that she doesn't have all that pressure on her eye. Also, the vet thinks there may still be an eye to save in there. Lets hope she can be a normal chameleon soon =) She has been showing new colors and these large yellow/brown spots show up on her sides. She's looking beautiful lately and I hope she does better. I also believe the reptaid is working wonders for her. She has only been on it since monday but her color has brightened up, she is more active, and she doesn't spit out her food as much anymore.

Thanks wonderful!!!! I hope that Molly will have a full recovery.

Even with the bubble Molly is beautiful!!

When she feels better pictures of her new color wear would be awsome;)

sure thing! I will probably be getting a digital camera for christmas so I can take some good pictures when she's feeling better.

How is Molly doing?

Good =) She's basking at the moment but she has nice color. I have to put a warm compress on the eye a few times a day and put antibiotic ointment on it but she doesn't put up too much of a fuss. The vet gave me oral and eye antibiotics and the oral ones said to give once a day for 3 days... which I though was a little odd but okay. So I did that and she looked so drained and did not feel well at all. At the end of the 3 days I gave the vet a call and asked her what she wanted me to do now and if she wanted to keep giving the meds. She said yeah continue giving the oral meds once every 3 days and I was like wait what!? Apparently one of the technicians wrote the wrong instructions and could have killed Molly if I didn't know a thing or two about antibiotics and stopped after the 3 days to consult dr. krogman. I can tell she feels much better than she did now that I have the right instructions.

Her right eye is also being treated, it looks like it could be starting to infect also, but hopefully she will start to open it again.
