So, I start with I did my research, at least 3 weeks before I got my male and female veiled. I have red books, this site, watched YT videos, etc. Thing was, I was the only one who were doing research.
I built two cages for both chams, while my parents got resources and so. They big day finally came and I started to look for flowers for free range. I had one free range. One hour was male Míra on free range, the other hour Zuzka, female. Everything worked for 2 months we have them. Thing was, my parents were only getting to know how to take care of cham via me and what I said. Which is not the greatest thing, as they could not pay attention and so.
And then, Day D came; I was at school, while my mother had day off from work. She was alone at home, so she took care of chams for that one day. And next thing I know, my mother called me and she told me, that she let them both on free range at the same time. Being a 4 months old, some veiled chams may start to mate. And that what happened. Before that, they were separetly and one time they got together they mated. So, I am now stuck with probably gravid 4 months old female.
What I learned was, either do everybody research, or at least one, who will research present properly to rest (the way I did it was just one or or two sentences which is not enough) of family. Or let just one take care, while others watch..
