I was just explaining to someone the different brands of uv bulb and how long each lasts. I have always read and been told Exo terra bulbs need replacing every four to six months. I know they have had an overhaul of their uv bulbs and they now say they will give off good levels of uv for a full 12 months.
I personally do not use Exo terra but I know most people still recommend every six months to change it. It would be interesting for someone to get it with a uv meter as I doubt they last that long!
Anyone else know this? Must have been a recent thing!
This I only the very recent tubes and many people probably still have older ones.
