Exo-Terra Reptile Incubator is a cheap incubator but do you recomend it?
im guessing cham eggs are sensitive do u recomend somthing far better?
or would this do? Im not havinge eggs anytime sooon im just wondering :p
what do you use?
what do you recommend?

you dont necessarily need an incubator for cham eggs...a lot of people just keep them in a closet...i believe Dez has a good video of how they incubate their eggs in tupperware in a closet...ill try and find it for you

Ive used the ThinkGeek.com version.......basically same unit just controls in different spot with company logo and a few other cosmetic touches.
ThinkGeek no longer sales their minifridge though.

Ive used this unit for a number of monitor n cham clutches.......works better then the havobators. You'll get about a 2-3 deg. variance on what you set the unit on, but is nice since it cools if room gets to hot.....

cham eggs dont necessarily need heat like bird eggs and will hatch at room temperature...most people use a closet bc there usually arent air vents, and the temperature is generally pretty stable...just get a thermometer and check the temps in a closet at different times of the day to see what they are and how much they fluctuate...as far as incubators though, i have never used one, sorry

I was about to say Dez lives in Florida where humidity and temp is fairly constant. I live in PA and I use the Exoterra. Its a good incubator but you have to keep a temp and humidity gauge in it. Don't trust the digital on the outside as mine reads 84F but the actual temp inside is about 73F. Exoterra also has a warranty for the first year and they will switch it out for issues.
