Sooooo - when I bought Ziggy, my male veiled, I was given in my set up quite a small Exo-Terra glass terrarium and in the last few weeks, I could see that it was no longer suiting his needs.
I am fortunate enough to live within 8 miles of the wonderful Chameleoco in Kirkham, Lancashire, England and I have to be honest when I say that what Jamie and Simon don't know about lizards and particularly Chameleons, isn't worth knowing. They have been absolutely wonderful, supply Silkworms, advice, guidance and every other thing helpful to a novice cham owner.
I mentioned to them a few weeks back that I thought that zig's enclosure was getting a bit too small and they have helped and advised me.
Today, I took delivery of an extra large Reptibreeze cage and on Saturday, they will be helping me with an entirely new set up for Ziggy.
What is exciting me more than anything, however, is that once Ziggy is in his new home, I will be using the smaller, Exo-Terra tank as a home for one of their home bred, Blue-Bar Ambilobe Panther chams. I have seen his parents and they are absolutely amazing.
I cannot wait for the weekend - not only to get my beloved Ziggy into his new environment, but to then, the week after, once I have cleaned out and redone the Exo-Terra, to take delivery of Chad, the absolutely adorable little male Panther.
I promise to post some pix when all is done - by the way can someone help with advice on how to post pix? I have no idea how its done.
