Just brought this little guy home and am totally in love with him already! So happy to call him mine. He is a Yellow-sided Green Cheek Conure... He doesn't like me right now but he'll come around. :)

He is a cutie I want a parrot so badly i just love their personalities plus they live a long long time too!!! i hope your ready for a life long time with him, how long do they live again 50-60 years???
 
They have one at my local PetsMart for $371 and he is adorable! When he sees me, he comes to give kisses! I can sure say they are smarter then my Indian Ring Neck Parrot :)

Indian Ring Necks are TOO beautiful! I was initially thinking of getting one of those or even a Parolette or Lorikeet. This little guy is just perfect though... He doesn't like me very much right now but he'll come around. I put 2 peices of mango in his dish and he got very upset and threw them out, lol! Thanks to a wonderful lady, he was given to me for free along with his belongings. I will love him forever! :D
 
He is cool looking, enjoy the new edition, my friend had a parrot it seemed full of personality and so much fun!

Thank you! I can't take credit for the name though... His previous owners young daughter named him that since his favorite fruit are apples. :) I felt bad about changing it and it's cute. :)

He's beautiful!

One of my mom's friends had a similar parrot, though I can't remember which kind, and he was so funny! He didn't like the husband and the husband would yell, "Shut up!" at him when he would make too much noise. Eventually he learned to say shut up and would yell it at the husband! :)

Ahahahah!! Now that is awesome... I was told that he says "Hi", "Hey boy." and "Hello boy.". I have yet to hear him "speak" but hey, he's only been here for half of a day and he has already stopped biting me and my son. I LOVE HIM!

They are beautiful indeed! My boy is blue with a red beak :)
