My girl was sat in her empty feeder cup looking at me quite pointedly, I was really pleased, it's her first attempt (as anthropomorphically interpreted by me) to communicate. So instead of taking that feeder cup out, I got another identical cup, put some dusted dubias in it and figured I could switch them out. I eased out the original cup with her on the rim, placed the fresh one inside the wire support, and let her walk across from the original one to the fresh one.
Then the fresh one tipped over and she, the cup, and the feeders fell to the floor of the enclosure. EPIC FAIL.
I picked her up, she did Huge Scary Panther at me, but I held her out and let her walk onto the basking branch, where she quickly made her way down to her Safe Place/Sleeping Branch and sat there being very boldly striped and huge and pushing her chin right out.
She calmed down fairly quickly and is now pootling about the enclosure like normal. I've properly secured the feeder cup, and got her some fresh feeders, although she's already been through and picked up a few of the escapees.
