Environmental Colors vs. Cham's Shade

When it comes to a Cham's environment, has anyone noticed CBB Cham's being more vibrant/dull on a lighter or darker background? I know 90% of the display color is based on mood, but say a Cham being kept in an enclosure with it being majority black vs. white has it been proven to effect their displays?

I don't think the background color affects them...but I've never studied it either.

Mainly trying to figure out if going with a specific background color (black or white acrylic) will effect the chams colors.

Wish I could give you a definite answer but I would go with the light color myself...just because it's light.
